The Young Warriors are through to the second round of the AFCON U23 qualifiers after beating Mauritius 6-1 on aggregate in the first round.
Elisha Pfupa scored a first-half hat-trick as Zimbabwe secured a 4-1 victory in the second leg played in Mauritius on Tuesday.
The Young Warriors had won the first leg 2-0 at the National Sports Stadium last week.
Pfupa opened the scoring in the 14th minute before adding another five minutes later.
The Portsmouth FC U18 player completed his hat-trick in the 40th minute after the hosts had pulled one back towards the half-hour mark.
Brentford U21 forward David Chigwada scored Zimbabwe’s fourth goal to cap a dominant first half.
The second half produced no goals as the Young Warriors held on for the win and secured a 6-1 aggregate victory.
Zimbabwe will face Mali, who received a first-round bye, in the second round.
